After the birth of my child I found myself in a deep hole of constant anxiety, overwhelming intrusive and obsessive thoughts, and paralyzing depression. And then I started tracking my fertility cycle. It was a tool I had been introduced to when I was trying to get pregnant, but in this new phase of life it quickly became a lifeline back to wellness.

  • Each unique day of your cycle has its own page, with space for recording notes for 4 complete cycles. For example, you’ll record your day 13 observations for 4 cycles, side-by-side. This allows you to see patterns and create self-care routines that are as sustainable and as automatic as brushing your teeth.
  • It’s purposefully blank so you can record what makes sense to you, creating space for you to develop a strong practice of paying attention to your body, thoughts, and heart. You’ll journal, collage, and draw your way towards greater self-awareness.

FAQs:

Do I need to have a menstrual cycle to use this tracker? No! I developed this tool for any person that feels drawn to living cyclically, whether according to your hormonal shifts, the lunar cycle, or even the seasons of the year. The tracker has detailed directions on how to track for each of those situations. 

My menstrual cycle is unpredictable. Can I still use the PCT? Yes! This is the perfect tool for learning more about what IS predictable about your cycle, even if its duration varies from cycle to cycle.

Is this tracker only for people trying to get pregnant? No! In fact, if you are looking for a tool to manage your fertility, I’d recommend checking out Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. The PCT is a great complement to the TCYF tools but isn’t a substitute for tracking the specific indicators your are looking for with fertility management.

Is the PCT a substitute for working with a medical or mental health professional? No way! The tracker will help you to start to identify what you’re struggling with, and validate that it’s all real. It’s a super useful tool to bring an appointment with your provider because it has tons of data to help pinpoint what you need the most support with right now.
